1. JALSAN was registered in Kathmandu District Administration Office (CDO ) under OrganizationRegistration Act 2034 on 27th Sep, 2011( 2068Baishak 7 Gate ) Registration No:- 1019/067/068and formally inaugurated by former Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Mizuno Tatsuo on May 21st 2011 in Kathmandu.

2. 11th March, 2011Tsunami was occurred in Sendai, Japan. JALSAN collected donation selling Tsunami poster with calendar and handed over Rs.104, 300 to Tsunami victims through the International Red Cross, Nepal Chapter.


63. 1st Japan Education Fair 2011’ held by JALSAN on 17th & 18th Sep, 2011 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu Inaugurated by Senior Social Worker and comedian Mr. Madan Krishan Shrestha & Mr. Hari Bansha Acharya .9 Japanese Language schools, colleges and university from different part of Japan had participated. Its objectives was to provide core information about Japan study, culture and preparation in own country directly by the Japanese representatives. Visitors were Around 15000 on this fair.

4. Japan Education Fair, Organized by JALSAN on 29th & 30th Sep, 2012 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu Inaugurated by Social worker Mrs. Dil Shova Shrestha ( Founder Of AMAA GHAR). 17 schools, colleges and universities of Japan were participated.Visitors were Around 25000 on this fair.
5. JALSAN had donated Rs.20,000 to Amaa Ghar for operating their activities on 30th Sep,2012.

6. JALSAN held 1st Japanese Language Speech Contest on 25th May, 2013.

7. JALSAN organized 2nd Japanese Language Speech Contest on 31st May, 2014 in Kathmandu.

8. JALSAN held 1st AGM in Kathmandu after its establishment. JALSAN Members discuss in different matter to uplift JALSAN in future. JALSAN elected Mrs. Subhadra Rajbhandari as new President of this Organization and also elected new board members gave thanks to IPP Mr. Sunil Bajracharya and other board members for their valuable contribution for uplift this Organization.

9. JALSAN donated 80,000 to Flood victims of Sunkoshi area.

10. counselor TrainingJALSAN Organized two days Counselor Training Work shop for give training to Counselor of JALSAN affiliated Members School. Main objective of this work shop is how to give right counseling to those students who are interested to go to Japan for study.

12.  First Secretary (Information & Culture) Embassy of Japan in10676261_1586581804903779_5807525944506945455_n[1] Nepal visited JALSAN Office, Shankhamul to know its activities on October 28, 2014 He got detailed information of our previous activities and upcoming programmes and its objectives.

13.  We would like to extend our membership with interested Japanese Language Schools and consultancies who have been working genuinely for promoting Japanese Language in Nepal and for sharing knowledge, Idea and information for achieving mutual goal. This year two more schools were added viz. East West Japanese Language Tuition Pvt. Ltd and Shirakawa Japanese Language School (P.) Ltd.

We proudly like to inform that association of JALSAN, planted 50 SAKURA (SOMEIYOSHINO SAKURA), which flower represents Japan in the presence of Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Masashi Ogawa; Culture Secretary, Mr. Hamada Kiyohiko along with 13 members of Asia Education Support Network (AESN) from Japan;  Former ambassador for Japan, Mr. Ganesh Yonjan, Local co-organization “Pudasaini Samaj”, Jorpati-2, representatives of The powered Committee For Integrated Development of the Bagmati Civilization, Guheswori, Kathmandu and respected citizens from different parts on 14th November 2014.

15. On 4th December 2014, Mrs. Kawaguchi Hisako and her team, “The Asian Foundation International Scholarship Interchange” met with members of JALSAN. There was discussion on various subjects. The meeting was particularly focused on uplifting TOP J in Nepal and value of test.

It has been 4 months from the plantation of SAKURA at Jorpati -2, each and every plant has been growing very well with new leaves. Even the SAKURA flowers are blooming in some trees. Protection is more challenging than plantation. Considering its well protection, JALSAN members contributed more Rs. 30000 for making its cage recently.

17.  After the feasiblity survey, JALSAN decided to assist funding for TLC building with 2 rooms for Pashupati Secondary School, Ramechhap, Shree Prathamic Primary School, Shindhupalchok and Shree Seti Devi Higher Secondary School, Syaule VDC-8, Sindhupalchok primarily where school buildings were collapsed by the earthquake in 2015 April 25th. According to that, the agreement was assigned between JALSAN and Pashupati Primary School on 2nd July 2015.

JALSAN successfully heldDSC_0066DSC_0122 the 3rd JAPANESE LANGUAGE SPEECH CONTEST 2015 on the presence of his Excellency, ambassador of Japan, Mr. Masashi OGAWA and Toshio YADOMI, First Secretary, Political DSC_0307DSC_0363DSC_0341Affairs on 22nd August 2015. In the contest the winner was Manish Angdembey, Innovative Japanese Language Institute Pvt. Ltd, 1st runner up was Muna Tamang, Nikko Japanese Language School and 2nd runner up was Nirajan Khadka, Manabu Japanese Language School . The prize for winner was 1 month visit to Japan for learning Japanese and exchanging culture which was sponsored by AIWA Language School, Fukuoka.

DSC06438DSC06439DSC0650019. DSC06501JALSAN Board members visited Chitwan and Pokhara with the objectives of Briefing about JALSAN in order to increase its members from 2015 Dec 26 to 28. During the programme we interacted on various concerned subjects. Response was quite good. And the schools showed their interest to affiliate in JALSAN. We also realized that we need to improve our working efficiency to add the new members from out of Kathmandu valley for well management. Along with that we visited Yume Japanese Language Institute Pvt. Ltd Chipledhunga Pokhara and Nippon Education Centre, Chitwan to check the feasibility of its foundation and management from where we got application for JALSAN membership.
